HARMFUL EFFECTS
Numerous animal studies have demonstrated the negative effects of these substances on human health, like carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, and genotoxicity. As a result, the use of these compounds and their leuco metabolites has been banned in aquaculture farming within the European Union.
